Despite these difficult economic times, entrepreneurial activity in the United States is showing positive signs, according to the new Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) study produced by Babson College and Baruch College. GEM, the largest and longest-standing globally focused entrepreneurship research that includes researchers from Babson College, also found that the U.S. remains at or near the top of the world’s innovation-driven economies in early-stage entrepreneurial activities.
